Probiotics: The highest quality probiotics will be found in the refrigerated section of the health food store.  They will be in capsule or liquid forms.  Look for one with a variety of strains.  Employees or owners of these types of stores will  likely be well educated regarding the products they sell and should be able to guide you towards the best choice.

WBC more info: Is there a differential? While the WBC is just slightly low, it may not be a problem. Is there a differential? Have you seen a dermatologist?

can you use cephalexin 500ng2x a day for longer than 2 weeks if leg infection from turf burn is still present? or does indicate that antibiotics not working? it is slowing healing, still have white in middle of wound and red outside still?

: Open abrasions can take a while to heal.  However if you have concerns about the healing process, please see the doctor who prescribed the antibiotics as a second opinion to yours.  Spreading redness or tenderness should prompt a sooner visit as infection may have progressed.

No: Normal for it to still have some edema.  You can use some light compression hose over the counter-- should help.

i'm taking keflex for a uti and on the 5th day of medication i'm having pain with certain movements or deep breath around low left side of back. but i no longer have burning when urinating. what could this be?

Kidney infection: The cited pain location suggests this is more than a simple bladder infection. It suggests the kidney on that side is involved. I would follow up with your doc.

I would take it.: My hand has a lot of close spaces and what starts as a simple cut could end up with loss of the finger.. No doubt if it was my injury I would take the antibiotic. If you cut your forearm you would have a better probability of doing well just because of the lack of close spaces and the anatomy maintained and the hand.

Specifics needed: You have to be more specific. How much of an overdose it was? Was it a one time overdose or a repetitive one s over several days?

Of course not: It would be unusual to need both these antibiotics at the same time, and you definitely should not take them, either alone or together, except under a doctor's care and advice. But they certainly won't kill you if taken together -- probably no side effects at all.
