Normal: The soreness can last for several weeks.
If you are able to move the arm and there is no overlying skin changes you are safe to watch it.
Exercise and gentle massage can help.

Wrist injury: I would not expect your entire right upper extremity to hurt so much, so that makes me wonder about a possible infection. Normally one would get a tetanus shot every ten years. However, tetanus shot should be considered if none within 5 years for particularly dirty wound. What kind of wound care have you had?

Yes: If you received the tetanus shot documented 5-6 years ago, it is fine. However, you dont say when you got the injury and it sounds like it could be infected. If the puncture is more than 24 hours ago, I would be evaluated for an infection asap.
