Usually surgery: This is usually a surgically treated problem with multiple options of care depending on the extent of injury, time frame of diagnosis to date of  injury, and symptomatology. Surgical options range from soft tissue reconstruction to partial fusion or per-cutaneous pinning. Diagnostic studies include mri, arthrogram and arthroscopy. You need to follow through with the  hand surgeon.

MCL : Fortunately most mcl injuries can heal without surgery.  It does depend on where the tear is.  The bone bruise should resolve over time as well but it takes 6-8 weeks to heal this injury. If your knee feels unstable or keeps giving out,  then be sure to see your orthopedic surgeon.

MSM 1000mg: is a low dose if taken daily. There are some patients that notice a change in their menstruation cycles when taking this...usually it is a skipped period or a lighter one.  Fish oil, Vit C and MSM are all excellent supplements to take as long as they don't interact with any other meds you may be on. With any ankle surgery I typically have my patients taking similar dosing before and after!

i've recently had varicose vein treatment, i had surgery once before, but this time i've had the injections, how long should the pain last, and will it take longer as i have klippel trenauny syndrome?

Couple of wks: Most likely your big veins were ligated,    striped, and had sclerosing injections were given to small spider veins, this may take2 to 3 wks, speak to your doctor,  other problem you meant carpel tunnel syndrome, due to compression of median nerve at wrist, your doctor will mobilize wrist first with splint , physical therapy, if  fails will release the nerveby surgery.Bothare not bad wiibefine.

i had hemorrhoidectomy surgery on the 17th of june, it is now the 12th of august and i still have days where i am extremely itchy, uncomfortable and in a lot of pain. is this the normal healing process, how much longer can this continue for?

Rectal pain: Such rectal discomfort at this late stage following hemorrhoidectomy is not normal and I'm certain that the surgeon would recommend an examination to determine the problem and treat you.
