Low salt foods: You should avoud frozen foods since they tend to have alot of sodium in them. Do not add salt to your food while it is cooking. Add it when you eat it, since you will tend to add less.

Will WHAT help?: Cotinine is generally gone in 3 days, no matter what you do.  It does not help to try to "flush" the body, because most tests are able to detect that you are doing that, and it will automatically fail you on that test.  What you NEED to do is quit smoking, both for your health and for whatever reason (job related, I assume) you are being drug tested. If you have 3 days, STOP NOW.

Couple of days: Depends somewhat on how heavy a smoker you were, how deeply you inhaled and held the cigarette, and the nicotine content of the tobacco you were using, but in general urinary cotinine (the metabolite of nicotine) becomes negative within 2-3 days after cessation.

Come again?: The nervous system is large, goes everywhere in your body, and is of mind-mangling complexity. The notion of chemicals "infiltrating" your nervous system is simply meaningless. It makes no more sense than to say that gasoline "infiltrates" your car. I don't want to assume too much, but if this is about how to beat a drug test, a doctor can't ethically help you with that.

Best bet is prevention, and if foreign chemicals arrive, get immediate medical attention.
