what topical other than metrogel or finacea works for rosacea?

Retin-A for rosacea: Although Metronidazole and azaleic acid are the most commonly used products for rosacea, neither agent is particularly effective.  If you wish to try something else, topical tretinoin cream (retin-a) may provide you with some benefit.  Systemic therapy with Doxycycline and other similar drugs are more effective than any topical therapy, particularly if you have pimple-like lesions.

Difficult: No known cure for rosacea.  Try to identify and avoid possible triggers, which will reduce flare-ups. By keeping a diary to identify the specific triggers you may have, you may be able to identify what makes your rosacea worse. Use this information to avoid future flare-ups.

i have bv and gsb i took metrogel but did not work now i'm on cleocin (clindamycin phosphate) t ovules can the bv cause me to miscarry ?

Potentially: I assume you mean bacterial vaginosis.  If the infection stays in the vagina, then unlikely to cause miscarriage.  If it spreads into the cervix and uterus, it could potentially bring on a loss of the pregnancy.

: I find nothing to support the idea the cannabis would alter the two drugs effectiveness.

After finished: If you have done with Metrogel,you can resume sex now.You are advised not to have sex while being treated with metrogel

No: Not recommended to use any expired medications.

Accepted Answer

Caution advised: Can't drink at all with oral or IV metronidazole: can get violently ill from the drug interaction.
Metrogel (facial) has minimal systemic absorption, but not impossible to have reaction.
Metrogel (vaginal) has greater chance for systemic absorption, therefore more of a chance of an adverse reaction.
I certainly wouldn't have a "couple" (or more) drinks.

Yes: No problem with taking these 2 meds concurrently.

Not vary: In my experience Metrogel has not been effective in improving rosacea.

Accepted Answer

Up to a week: I tell people up to a week after completing therapy.  After that the therapy might have been a failure and you need to go back to the office.
