Difficult: No known cure for rosacea. Try to identify and avoid possible triggers, which will reduce flare-ups. By keeping a diary to identify the specific triggers you may have, you may be able to identify what makes your rosacea worse. Use this information to avoid future flare-ups.

Avoid precipitating: Fsctors such as alcohol and specific foods in addition to other medications such as Oracea or finacea.

Probably not: There is metronidazole gel or cream which you can get from your doctor to treat this. Ground up pills would probably not work. Good luck!
