Septoplasty healing: After eight months status post sinus surgery and septoplasty, you should be healed.  If you are still having trouble breathing, perhaps there is a persistent deviation or if your turbinates were not worked on that may be contributing to your symptoms.

You may need a : Polysomnograph & sleep medicine evaluation to determine the cause of your sleep problems. One option to help sleep in the meantime is chinese scalp acupuncture & auricular (ear) acupuncture.   Also - use scrupulously good sleep hygiene. Retire & rise same time each day. Keep bedroom dark & cool & use only for sex & sleep. Turn off tv. No naps. Exercise regularly but not in late evening. No &gt;&gt;&gt;.

Ask first: You had surgery inside you nose 10 days ago and you want to put something in there.  It would be advisable to ask your surgeon rather than an internet message board.  A neti pot can mean different things to different people.  A true neti pot you sniff the saline through your nostril and it may be ok.  Some people use a squeeze bottle to forcefully push the saline through and that might not be ok.

They will with time: The dissolving stitches will gradually dissolve. The regular use of saline nose spray after surgery will keep the stitches moist so they will dissolve and make your nose more comfortable.
