weeks to months: Carb and salt cravings with a.F. Can be an issue from weeks to months depending on adrenal function level. From health food store get some adrenal support supplements and then i would add some 5-htp 100mg 1-2 caps twice daily to help curb cravings by increasing serotonin. Sea or himalayan salt in glass of water till it tastes ok will help with salt craving without food calories.

Helpful, it depends: Dr. Wilson has several products; they all look good though i'm most impressed with the herbal adrenal support formula. But taking these alone won't cure it; adrenal fatigue is caused by chronic stress, both physical ; emotional, so a healthy diet, adequate rest, relaxation techniques ; dealing with other issues like food allergies, chronic infections ; hypothyroidism are all important components.

Unknown : Since you are very young, there is s good chance you will recover nicely. Sometimes your condition can be made worse by fungal nose infection, so ask your doc to check that with nasal swab cultures. Stay rested, eat well, do light exercise and stay positive

No adrenal fatigue: There is no such disorder as adrenal fatigue. Why were you taking the adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine)? Adhd or recreationally? You really need to see your doctor.

See below: There's no such thing as adrenal fatigue as far as recognized clinical entities are concerned.  See an md or a do. Symptoms and concerns like these mandate a thorough evaluation by your doctor.  Only after such an evaluation, which may include labs and radiographic examinations, can he/she let you know what's going on and how best to help you.

Skeptical.: While promoted by various alternative medicine sites and "holistic" healers, adrenal fatigue isn't an accepted medical diagnosis.  Keep a skeptical eye towards anything that sounds too good to be true - including supplements (especially if marketed by the doc).  Supplements are largely unregulated - their purity and safety aren't tested.   Most are useless. Common sense diet and exercise is best.

Question not clear: Fatigue that is associated with adrenal disease is generally due to low cortisol levels in the blood.  Replacing the cortisol either with hydrocortisone 3x/day or prednisone 2x/day should improve "adrenal fatigue" if given at the proper dose.  If you are still fatigued you might need a bigger dose but more likely something other than your adrenals is causing your symptoms.  See an endocrinologist.

Lifestyle changes: The recommended treatments are: stop smoking, stop alcohol & drugs, start an exercise program, eat healthy foods, follow daily routine for sleeping and waking.Keep in mind the endocrine society and the hormone foundation do not recognize adrenal fatigue as a medical condition because there is current no biochemical test to prove/confirm this diagnosis. Adrenal insufficiency is recognized, however.

Exercising + Adrenal: Walking in nature or other meditative exercises help to decrease the body's stress response and call for cortisol.

If a person has "adrenal fatigue", they have poor exercise recovery from extreme exertion, and that can delay healing.    

I always recommend avoid over-training if a person has impaired recovery from exercise or a suspicion of adrenal fatigue.
