Nifty Naloxone: Naloxone, or Narcan (naloxone) is intended to reverse narcotic overdose and is usually given in the vein, muscle or breathing tube (in emergencies).  It has a very rapid onset of action but a short life in the body.  It's half life is 64 minutes, which means in approximately 4 hours it is completely out of the body primarily through the kidneys.  Diminished kidney function could prolong the drug effect.

About 5-8 hrs: for naloxone to be out of your system 1/2 life is 1-1.3 hrs.  If you are worried about the blocking capacity the buprenorphine is the actual blocker not the naloxone but the buprenorphine and it takes several days to be out of your system 1/2 life 24-48 hrs  average 36 hrs.  So other narcotics will not work as long as the buprenorphine is in your system

No: Suboxone (Buprenorphine) has a half-life on average of 37 hours. So it'll be completely out of your system in about24 days

Naloxone: Is contained within suboxone.  Are you referring to naltrexone?  It is safe and some might consider superior but there has to be a period of detoxification prior to starting naltrexone.

Narcan (naloxone): Narcan (naloxone) should be administered my medical professionals with clear indications, if the pregnant female requires treatment with Narcan (naloxone) many factors should be considered:risk/benefit ratio is always important.

i understand that heroin is detectable in urine up to 4days after use but if narcan is introduce to the system will it decrease detection time?

No: Narcan blocks opiates such as heroin at receptor sites in the brain but does not effect urine screening. If you are trying to avoid a positive uds for heroin, the best way is to abstain :). If this is a problem seek professional help. Heroin kills.
