Fractured Mandible: A simple panoramic radiograph should be sufficient. Contact a local oral surgeon for an examination. If you do have a fracture, the bones most likely will need fixation.

Lockjaw can be a...: Term for stiffness related to TMJ disease or can refer to tetanus, hopefully you mean the former one.  If you had trauma to the area, an x-ray is needed to see if there is a fracture present.  Go hawks.

Post-traumatic TMJ: syndrome. After CT imaging and physical examination have excluded structural damage, management depends upon the particular type of TMJ disorder. Many posts-traumatic TMJ patients frequently have accompanying symptoms of TMD and should be referred for appropriate management to a TMJ specialist.

Location, intensity of pain are indicators, but not a diagnosis, . CT scan can helpful in establishing diagnosis.Please see a specialist Oral Surgeon immediately.

Depends: Clinical examination would include assessment of the occlusion (bite), tenderness to palpation of the muscles and jaw , resistance movements (both opening and closing), and manipulation of the jaw. Also, tooth position/looseness would be checked. Radiographic imaging would include Panoramic and 3D scans. Some may add a lateral Ceph. See a specialist - Oral Surgeon- for evaluation. Good Luck.

I think it should be fine.  Some surgeons prefer to wait a few days for the swelling to go down before they operate on certain facial fractures.
