Blister: I'd imagine that would resolve in about two to four weeks depending on the size of the blister.

i had blood clot removed from my gum/ lip area  july 1 st. when i wear my denture it is still sore. how long will this take to heal completely?

In time: If the base of the denture or the edge is rubbing the surgery site then it will take longer for the area to heal.  If it takes more than another week or so you might want to have the surgeon check this out.  Although not likely, non-healing wound may be something more serious, and will need additional attention.

blood clots in the lungs in 2015 from taking birth control.no longer have clots. 6 weeks pregnant prescribed take ecotrin 81mg is this safe.can i start taking it now or wait for 12 weeks? also got pregnant using fertomid is ecotrin neccessary.

Hyper coagulation : Please seek the care of an Obstetrician immediately. Given your history you would be deemed a high risk and will need good medical management throughout. The Ecotrin is probably not sufficient and, at a minimum, you will need prophylactic anticoagulation with Heparin or Lovenox.

Possibly quickly: We often see pulmonary emboli (clots to the lungs) on the initial ct scan when patients arrive in the er. Sometimes, if you have an injury that causes you to not walk well, the clot can develop over days to weeks.

Paradoxical embolus: is an uncommon cause of embolic stroke. Straining on the toilet can create the pressure gradient necessary for the clot to cross from the right to the left side of the heart through a patent foramen ovale. The clot may take days to weeks to build up in the leg vein prior to this.

More info needed: Blood clots in veins are treated with different types of anticoagulants than blood clots in arteries. To make matters more confusing, some people refer to a hematoma (a collection of blood outside of a vessel) as being a blood clot. No medicines are used to dissolve hematomas. So you need to discuss this with someone who understands exactly what the situation is.

Ok: Fast is a relatively term but clotting too fast or too slow is usually not desirable.  If your wounds heal normally, it is good news but it does not necessarily mean that your blood is healthy since the clotting mechanism accounts for only a small part of your blood.

Evacuation: Sclerotherapy can cause the blood in the injected vein to clot.  This is usually seen as a darkened area or can be felt as a hard area.  Several things can be done to improve this-warm compresses, nsaids and evacuation by inserting a needle into the clotted area to release the clot.  This evacuation takes only a few seconds and feels like a pin prick.
