: Nine days is too soon:  it takes several weeks for the HSV blood tests to become positive. So your positive result has nothing to do with your symptoms. Anyway, "pins &amp; needles" and on and off "tingling" are NOT herpes symptoms. Such symptoms can precede outbreaks of herpes blisters/sores, but by themselves are never due to herpes. Also, herpes blood tests aren't always reliable. Discuss w/ doctor

Herpetic sore on han: Verify the diagnosis and that not foot mouth/ dermatitis herpetiformis, chronic vesicular hand dermatitis,pompholyx, prophyria, pemphygoid .if herpes do not touch eyes,leads to eye infection. If recurrent herpes, consider lysine 500 mg a day for  prevention  or Valtrex/ Acyclovir x 1 year.Consider underlying conditions that cause recurrence( like autoimmune dx). Follow with dermatologist

Get tested: Lumps, bumps, blisters and other skin abnormalities on the genitals need to be evaluated. An examination will be needed to know the cause and treatment. My first concern is to rule out herpes but there are many other things that can cause these symptoms

: Those are not symptom and sign of oral herpes (herpes labialis) and the duration does not fit. New lipstick, new toothpaste or new oral product could be the cause. You should see an ENT doctor if symptoms persist.

Bloodwork?: Herpes cultures will only be positive about 60% of the time, even with active disease.  Having bloodwork to look for antibodies to the herpes virus can help confirm the diagnosis.

: Herpes occurs as eruptions on/near sex organs and may give some symptoms similar to what you describe. Wait 2-3 days . If no eruptions good chance no herpes. next time pl take precautions.

: You misunderstand herpes symptoms. Herpes LESIONS (blisters, sores, etc) can itch or tingle, or on some occasional tingling can occur for a day or two before an outbreak starts. But continuing itching or tingling of the penis is NEVER due to herpes. And genital herpes does not cause the sort of rash or bumps you describe. There are many causes other than herpes:  see a dermatologist.

Less than a week: Assuming you are referring to herpes zoster (shingles) the rashes on the skin usually appear in less than a week and mostly 2-3 days.

Herpes simplex: Can be early symptoms of herpes outbreak. When this subliminal pain occurs it is not always followed by full blown lesions.  It is not clear why different presentations occur in different individuals.

Possibly yes: What you describe can certainly be the signs of a pending herpes flare-up. You should see your doctor. Early recognition and treatment can reduce the severity and length of a flare-up.
