sinusitis won't go away, how much longer do i have to suffer?

Sinusitis: If you have completed several courses of antibiotics for at least 14 days each and are not improving then i would recommend that you see an ENT specialist.  They may be able to perform a culture to see the type of bacteria and which antibiotics it is responsive to.  Or they may perform a ct scan to see if you need surgery.

why is one pupil larger than the other? it used to happen randomly and would go away, about a year ago i first noticed. now, it stays like this longer

Might be ok: About 20% of people have a small difference between right vs left pupil size with no symptoms at all.  If the difference is large, you should show your doctor.

why do bruises on breast take longer to go away?

Bruising: the breast is vascular, fibrous and fatty tissue in makep so bruising is caused by the bloods availabilty to pool in that tissue environment. It doesnt clear as quickly as muscle does

every time i eat spicy food, i get hiccups for about 2 minutes, and then they go away. the spicier the food, the longer the hiccups last. normal?

Not normal, but...: This is not normal, but also not a medical emergency per se.  You apparently have a strange allergic reaction that affects your phrenic nerve when eating spicy foods, thus causing hiccups.  I would avoid the spicy foods.

i had a hickey that turned to a bruise that has been there for a month and won't go away, when should i be concerned? will it take longer to go away?

Bruise: A bruise should not last that long. It can be either hyper-pigmentation changes or you should check with your local physician to make sure that you don't have bleeding disorder.

Can take longer: You may wish to consult to a pain specialist, since interruption of the pain cycle may help the healing process move along better.

i have 2 boils/abscesses that won't go away. they are no longer painful and they are smaller in size but they've been there about 2 months. i have a third one on my behind that just recently formed. a1c is high 10.9%?

Doctor can recheck: The antibiotic-resistant bacteria called MRSA is usually checked for when a person has a boil. The doctor can swab the pus and send it to the lab. Certain antibiotics are used for MRSA boils, and other things have to be done to try to get that bacteria out of the household. Boils can still be due to regular, nonresistant bacteria... so hope it is nonresistant.

good day i have a question regarding bronchospasm. a doctor i talked to on this app told me the symptoms i have, correlate to having bronchospasm. i wanted to know if it takes longer than 14 days for bronchospasm to go away?

: Bronchospasm is a descriptive term for when the smaller airways are narrowed by circular muscles in response to a triggering force.   Asthma/virus/inhaled exposure/ etc.. It is a description/not a diagnosis. It can persist as long as the triggering force is present. With some viral LRI's that can be a month. You may want to seek an exam to decide  what your real diagnosis/triggering factor is

my pulsatile tinnitus used to go away when i pressed on my neck. 2 years later this no longer works, it's also changed rhythm and pitch. why?

Change in rythmn: is due to change in heart rate /rhythm most likely. Amitriptyline is highly anticholinergic and will raise BP and Heart rate. Do not press on your neck to stop blood flow, have the situation re-assessed. Make sure you do not have a cavernous sinus or endolymph fistula.

Normal for pregnancy: AS pregnancy progresses, the increased levels of hormone causes vaginal changes including a relaxation, and a slow movement of the pelvic bones into a more accommodating position so that the baby can eventually pass through the birth canal. All these symptoms gradually reverse after the birth. Reassure your partner, and explore different ways of intimate contact.
