Nerves in scar: Some times the nerve fibers in the skin get entrapped in a scar and cause pain. It is difficult to know the reason in your case without examining the scar. You may try massaging the area in a warm environment, e.g., warm bath. See this site for more info.

Not likely: A benign tumor by definition does not metastasize to distant parts of the body. A benign tumor like a uterine fibroid can frequently grow but almost never will turn into a cancer.

Possibly: A bone scan is a very sensitive test but it is not very specific.  It will simply "light up" anywhere there is increased bone activity.  Fractures, infection, cancers, and benign bone processes can light up on a bone scan.  Osteoid Osteoma and Paget's disease are just two examples of benign processes that can light up on a bone scan.  Discuss with your doctor, if any question, may need biopsy.

Some tumors have abnormal cell growths made up of several sub populations of cells, which can later give rise to a malignant cell growth. So yes, a benign tumor can give rise to a malignant tumor.
Any changes to your existing tumor (such as growth) needs to be assessed by a doctor to investigate if the new growth is cancerous.

If the lesion occurs around the pelvic girdle rather than distal extremity, it can behave aggressively.
