More to it. : Fatigue is always a hard problem because the symptom can mean different things. Many people can't exercise, eat well sleep enough because they are so fatigued and depressed. You are ahead there.  Are you mainly sleepy, dose off when still? See a sleep doctor.  Or you don't feel right inside, nothing makes you feel happy? Talk to your primary care doc or counselor. No simple fix. Don't go it alone.

Good for you ! : It is good for you; healthy eating since early childhood (if possible) not only prevents lots of diseases, also influences how kids will perceive and understand food the rest of their lives. They will educate others (eventually their own kids) and will have "sweet" memories of their childhood linked to healthier things. The cost of not having done this years ago is enormous for the system.

Don't forget your public library - or google "healthy family meals.".

Weight Loss: Don't know your food intake vs caloric expenditure. Eat healthfully. Try to eat at least 5 servings of vegetables &amp; 4 of fruit per day. Increase nutritional fiber. Avoid refined sugar &amp; junk carbohydrates.  Avoid alcohol, sweetened juices, soda &amp; caffeinated beverages.  Aim for 7.5 to 8 hrs of sleep / night. Hydrate w at least 64 oz of water / day. : Get guidance from a nutritionist. There various nutrients in meets and other foods you might exclude that are just as important for health as vegetables. Vegetarians who grow up in that lifestyle learn to accommodate those needs but if you just stop &amp; eat vegies you will eventually develop nutritional deficiencies than can impair health.

Persistance: Do it for 20 days and it becomes a habit. Eat 5-7 servings of fruits and vegetables a day ( included at each meal) you should be able to be eating the right foods  eat  lean meat and chicken and fish as 3 ounce portions, eat whole grains and legumes. Dairy products should be low fat.

Slowly: small changes that you can handle. For example, if you never ate a fresh fruit daily, start with one fresh fruit a day. You can make it part of your lunch or snack. Fresh produce is much better than processed and easy to get even at convenience stores. Then after doing this for a week, two or three.... on to your next change. Nothing drastic.
