Soma (carisoprodol): Soma (carisoprodol) is an effective muscle relaxant (or anti-spasmodic) for muscle pain and spasms.  It is not a narcotic, but does have some habit-forming qualities.
To taper down safely, i would recommend titrating the total mg dose down every two weeks by 1/2 the dose.
Do not change the frequency of dosing initially if possible.

: Soma is a muscle relaxant and is not meant as a pain reliever, nor will it address the underlying cause of your toothache. Please see a dentist ASAP to have that tooth evaluated and treated.

: Soma is not indicated for anxiety, and is classified as a muscle relaxant.  It is also a drug of potential habituation, as it metabolizes to a drug of abuse, formerly known as Miltown.  It can be very dangerous if used in combination with opioids.  It is best to totally avoid and find a true anti-anxiety drug through your physician.

Both: Soma is a muscle relaxant while meloxicam is an anti-inflammatory. I think you could take both. However there may be a strong element of tension and stress in your symptoms. Accordingly stress management therapy should be considered as well as evaluation for depression. Don't try to fight these symptoms without professional help as continual stress and depression wear you down affecting health

Depends: Soma (carisoprodol) and Tizanidine are muscle relaxants, not anti-inflammatories, that essentially turn down the volume of pain in the brain. They work in slightly different ways, so if you are no longer getting relief with Soma (carisoprodol), your doc may want to try a different but similar medication. With chronic muscle spasm, use heat instead of ice, ensure enough sleep and water, reduce caffeine/tobacco use if applicable

NA or AA: There's no easy answer. The core belief is that the beginning of this journey to sobriety begins with you - that is, you have to want to stop before you die - and without a full blown miracle you will die. But you are that miracle. Believe in yourself, ask for help if you need it - aa and na are good choices not ers and humbly ask for help. You are worth saving.

WHY????: Why in the world would you take this for any reason? A single dose of this addicting tranquilizer is not likely to harm anyone. The baby may become sleepy for a few hours. Avoid any unneeded meds , especially while nursing.
