Drooling: Stay away from eating or smelling food that will increase salivation.  Other than that, be patient! the medicine wears off after a few hours.

Swallow: There really is no reason to be drooling after an extraction. It is possible that having the gauze in your mouth to stop the bleeding may be stimulating some extra saliva, but it is just saliva and you should just swallow it. Once the bleeding has stopped you do need the gauze and that should slow down the saliva production.

Yes and possibly: Your dentist or oral surgeon will most certainly use local anesthetic to numb your mouth for the extractions. If you would like to be put to sleep, that can also be arranged ahead of time by discussing it with your dentist.

Yes: The anesthetic is local and should have little effect on your heart.  Infrequently, the Epinephrine (adrenaline) added to some local anesthetics can enter the bloodstream in high enough concentrations to cause mild increases in heart rate or blood pressure -- this is generally avoided with proper technique.

Normal: If you just had your teeth pulled those sensations seem normal and should go away within 12 to 24 hours.  If not call your dentist.  The gauze can be removed when the bleeding has stopped.

Takes time: The numbness might be due to very minor nerve damage or residual swelling in that region.  Regeneration of feeling in the mouth that might yet return but it is unknown.  If this is really causing you trouble you could speak with the dentist who gave you the novacaine, but outside of time there is not much we could do to return the feeling of sensation in that region.

Not rwally: Call the dentist right now.  The sooner you as this the less likely it will be permanent.

What is the question: If your face was swollen and numb before the extractions then that should have started to heal after the extractions.  If you got swelling after the extractions then i would contact the oral surgeon that extracted the teeth.  If you did not see an oral surgeon then contact the dentist and good luck.

Antibiotics: I assume the extractions where on the left side. Antibiotics should help, which i assume your dentist has you on. It's still too early to know if those symptoms are permanent. It take two full months for a tooth extraction site to heal on average. See your dentist if you are worried.
