Cell repair : The fasted state helps with repair/regeneration of cells etc and may assist with maintaining insulin sensitivity (reduced cardiovascular and diabetes risk).  Starts after about 12h post food.  May if have medical conditions however need to discuss with your GP first

Probably not. Sorry.: Sorry to maybe disappoint you, but "systemic" yeast infection, or yeast overgrowth in the intestine, is an urban medical myth. There is no such thing (not counting life-threatening fungal infections in people with cancer or immune deficient because of chemotherapy, etc). See a physician about your symptom and take it from there, but don't expect miracles or any yeast-related treatment.

i heard that vernix found on babies is good for your gut health - is this true?

Unlikely: I couldn't think of any reason it would.This vernix, is composed of dead skin cells,hair and other debris from the sterile environment that surrounds baby.Many cosmetic firms use the material(obtained from cattle) as a collagen basis for cold cream. For this basic collagen (skin protein) to aid to the digestive system doesn't pass my BS filter.

i suffer chronic anxiety, currently i'm fixed on my health and have a uncomfortable feeling in my abdomen only when pushed, what could this be?

: It would depend on the specific antibiotics you take or took. 
Visit this site for names of antibiotics that are a risk for C diff. The same antibiotics are the ones that alter your GI health.

It isnt pretty: probiotics require living bacterial cultures. Most of the ones in the store wont have enough live culture.
