Gall bladder stone : Usually stones are formed in the gall bladder and come down to common bile duct. So many times they are left in the common bile duct from before removing the gall bladder, in that case, they will give pain symptoms later. ERCP is required to remove those stones. Please discuss with your Physician.

Other cause of block: Hida scan is a nuclear medicine test to check on the flow of bile from liver, into gallbladder, and bile ducts.  Safe test.
Results can be: normal; no visualization of dye in the gallbladder (may mean blockage by stone, inflammation-cholecystitis, less likely tumor); slow movementvisualization-may reflect liver trouble, blockage, inflammation of bile ducts; seen elsewhere than bil sys/gi-leakage.

: No, those 2 conditions are affecting different tissues of the liver and acute biliary obstruction due to stone does not cause residual damage once the obstruction is relieved. Please continue your best effort to lose weight by diet and exercise.

: Fatty liver will not interfere with recovery from surgery, but you need to attend to it by losing weight. Not easy to do by it is imperative to prevent further damage to the liver.
