The most common condition linked to increase number of respiratory infections is not well controlled allergic disease. Less likely are abnormal architecture of face bones (e.g. High palate), and even less common are immunology and other genetic defects such as cystic fibrosis. Medical evaluation recommended.

Exertional injury: A night of rest & relaxation softens the discomfort & relaxes muscles from a busy day in most  children with growing pains. In fact, that pattern helps us distinguish it from more worrisome issues that often wake a kid from sleep or start as the day starts. Kids don't stretch out like athaletes to prepair their muscles for a workout. They go & go until tired & pay the price with overuse pains.

Age: Partially this is because you are 47 years old.  Fertility drops over time.  You also are at increased risk of bearing a child with chromosomal disorders such as Downs Syndrome, Trisomy 18 and others.   Even a late period at this age could be a baby that was not meant to be.  Gosh, I hate to be such a buzz kill, but I hope this is helpful.

20 is excessive: If you need 20 hours of sleep you need to see a physician.  One should feel rested after 6-8 hrs QUALITY sleep. a blood w/u and testing for sleep apnea is warranted

Fifth disease: Fifth disease, also called erythema infectiosum, is caused by parvovirus b19. Infection with it confers lifelong immunity. That means that once you get infected, you will not get reinfected if re-exposed. Avoid exposure to any pregnant non-immune woman who may develop the disease and cause complications to her unborn child.

Moisturizing lotion: Are there any rashes? Your child needs to do allergy test to see if your doctor can figure out what she is allergic to. Has any blood test being done to rule out other causes of itching? See your doctor to determine the cause. A moisturizing lotion will take care of itching caused by dry skin.

Yes: Nothing is foolproof. The best we can do is take recommended precautions. Live a healthy life style. Eat a healthy, well balanced diet. Wash your hands (20 seconds) regularly. Keep hands away from face. Practice social distancing. Make sure ALL vaccinations aren up to date. Have regular check-ups. Wear mask that seals mouth and nose when in public. All these reduce (not eliminate) infection risk.

See details: These are not growing pains. This is knee pain. Have the issue evaluated. Btw there is little hard evidence to support the concept of growing pains at any age.
