i've  been constipated since december, last week i saturday i decided to drink some epsom salt and it helped a little but im constipated again. thursday i gave myself a suposetry and felt that my anus is swollen inside. can you please help me?

Abdominal pain : So many things come to mind. That list can be more focused with an in person examination. I often think of constipation as a poor balance of water in the colon, but can be from mineral imbalances, thyroid disease (low thyroid) . Bad idea: Traditionally -some women have bathed in epsom salts as a way to cause an abortion.  See:  http://www.ceped.org/avortement/gb/chap4/800/chap4-tab.html.  Please keep in mind that they have also used gasoline,  poisons , knitting needles, etc.  All of these are also bad ideas. That's not the way : you lose weight by going on low carb diet and also check out for low thyroid

Rash: If the rash contains blisters, be seen. Creams and soaks are soothing but you need to take an antihistamine by mouth for itching. All the best.

Yes: Sugary drinks have extra unnecessary calories so stopping consumption of soda can make a big difference in weight loss. This also includes fruit juices, etc. Better to eat whole fruit rather than drink it, if possible. If you like bubbly taste of soda, consider getting a device which can carbonate your water, then squeeze in a slice of citrus fruit for flavoring. Diet sodas aren't helpful either.

Skipping meals: is usually not the way to go. Losing weight will not cause you to preferencially lose weight from one area of the body.

Fasting back fires: As a method for weight loss. Your metabolic rate will drop rapidly in response to starvation. The slower your metabolic rate, the more quickly you are able to regain weight. To lose weight insure that calories burned &gt; calories consumed. Drink at least 8  - 8 oz glasses of water per day.  Aim for at least 5 servings of vegetables ; 4 servings of fruit per day. Use whole grain when possible. Avoid.

Yes: Yes we protein shakes would work for you .It's hard to lose fat and gain weight and muscle at the same time. To lose weight you need to be on a calorie deficit diet. Set 1 goal first and try to achieve it.

Belly fat: Body fat is lost by increasing metabolism, and unfortunately you can not spot reduce. Ie you can not do abdominal exercise to loose abdominal fat. The fat is deposited and can be removed by weight loss. General rule, last place fat gained is the first to go and the the first place gained is the last to go.

Myths: Nope. Remember hundreds of millions of people drink green tea daily. It does not change obesity in any way.
