Belly fat: Body fat is lost by increasing metabolism, and unfortunately you can not spot reduce. Ie you can not do abdominal exercise to loose abdominal fat. The fat is deposited and can be removed by weight loss. General rule, last place fat gained is the first to go and the the first place gained is the last to go.

Agree w Dr. Lipton.: No special drinks will burn belly fat. Fat loss does not occur naturally. By losing weight in general some will probably be abdominal fat. But, we don't get to choose what area of body fat is lost from. Eat healthy ; be physically active. Calories burned must > those consumed. Tighten ab's: crunches, reverse crunches, exercise ball crunches, pelvic thrusts, lying leg raises ; aerobic exercise.

The only: Way to through diet and exercise. It will help lose total body fat; you can't directs it at your belly fat, but you can strengthen the abdominal muscles through directed exercise. It's 3500 calories that you must burn off to lose one pound. Otherwise the only way is liposuction. Any exercise you do can help burn off calories - doesn't matter what type.
