Hot Flashes ?: After a "miscarriage", there may be an extended period of time when estrogen levels are very low, and any precipitous drop in estrogen can produce "hot flashes".  These should minimize after ovulation is resumed in the near future.

i am 3 wks pregnant, didnt know but ive been sick hot flashes nausea an headache i took nyquil, and ibuprofien  will it cause miscarriage?

Pregnant: Sick with hot flushes is an indication to see your Gynecologist as soon as you can. Problems should be cared for by the doctor.

: Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.

tsh is 0.75, have hot flashes on left arm, chest, heart beats fast after eating. is this hyperthyroidism? did it cause my 2 miscarriages?

Normal TSH: A TSH of 0.75 is normal in most assays.  The symptoms also are not typical of hyperthyroidism, which tends to cause palpitations and heat intolerance all the time.

Need pregnancy test: You could either be experiencing the end of your last miscarriage or the beginning of a new pregnancy.  If your home pregnancy test is negative, you can wait 2 more weeks for your cycle to restart.  If your home pregnancy test is positive, go see your doctor to get your pregnancy hormone levels (beta hcg) checked.

Not necessarily.: Those same symptoms can occur in pregnancy.

i am a 41 year old woman. i had a full hysterectomy in my early 30's. i have been able to stay of hrt but lately my moods, hot flashes etc. are out of controll. do i need to consider hrt?

Yes: Assuming your ovaries were removed at the time of the hysterectomy, i would encourage you to try estrogen replacement  therapy.  You are too young to be without estrogen. No estrogen can  cause bone and vaginal problems in addition to the symptoms you describe.

i had a full historectomy. im still having hot flashes and night sweats. im about to turn 64 years old. whats going on with me?

: You may be dealing with symptoms of menopausal estrogen deficiency. These generally develop in the mid to late 40s as women begin the transition to menopause but can last into the 60s. Please get seen by your PCP to discuss treatment options.

my 10 yr old takes melatonin 1mg at ngt. he had it, 1 hr later hes having hot flashes. 
its not hot in his bdrm. said he doesnt feel good cause his head? feels hot....
can melatonin cause hot flashes in kids?

Likely unrelated: Melatonin's basic effect is to make one groggy. Any hot flashes he has is likely unrelated but feeling disoriented may be an effect.
