can someone tell me the difference between horizontal and vertical stretch marks? which ones come from gaining weight and which ones come from growing taller?

Either: In general stretch marks appear as a result of increased tension on skin from rapid changes in weight or growth. Horizontal stretch marks on the back are usually from growth in height. Vertical stretch marks on abdomen or thighs are usually from weight gain. Axillary striae can be from either cause.

my girlfriend took an e.p.t test and a vertical line appeared in both the control and test area. no horizontal lines. is this a positive result?

Accepted Answer

A+sign means it is p: If it shows as a+ it is positive 
and if it is a-- means it is negative
if it does not show+ it is supposed to be negative
you can repeat the test if in doubt.

: It seems Bell clapper deformity has become a 'fashionable' diagnosis. Actually it can only be diagnosed accurately during surgery. Testicles are extremely mobile in a capacious scrotum and there is nothing to worry about their lie. Best thing is to wear good supportive underwear and you will be fine
