you should be checked by a doctor and possibly placed on antibiotics

Vaginal odor may: Indicate yeast overgrowth ("infection") or bacterial vaginosis. See gyn/fp for exam, culture, & treatment. Diabetics (especially if sugars not well controlled) may be more prone to yeast due to increased food for the yeast. Chlamydia or other std also a possibility & reason to be checked.

Bacterial Vaginosis: It sounds like you may be suffering from bacterial vaginosis. It is not a sexually transmitted disease; but rather a change in vaginal bacteria (that are normal) that can occur with pH changes. These pH changes occur naturally during the menstrual cycle and can occasionally cause foul odor, discharge or pain. See your gyn for testing and treatment.

Can be normal: Mild vaginal odor is normal &amp; can vary in intensity during menstrual cycle. Bacterial vaginosis is common &amp; usually caused by beneficial vaginal bacteria. Also due to increased sweat &amp; after sex. Trichomonas, STD can cause malodor &amp; otherwise be symptom free. Retained/forgotton tampon cause severe malodor &amp; immediately resolves after removal. Vaginal douches not recommended &amp; can be harmful

Several: An internet search brings up several. Odor is caused by bacteria or fungi so eating healthy food that grow bacteria that don't make bad odors is the basic solution. Chlorophyll, raw apple cider vinegar, and fermented foods like kefir and yogurt that are low in sugar are a definite help. Ingesting herbs like thyme, oregano, ginger, rosemary, and clove  in food inhibit the growth of bad bacteria.

ive gone to the doctors for a vaginal odor. all the tests came back fine. i shower every other day. theres no discharge either. i wear cotton underwear but nothing when im home. ive got cysts on my ovaries if that could have anything to do with it? ive ha

Not cysts.: Cysts on our ovaries will not cause vaginal odor.  Diet and medications, prescription or over-the-counter and supplements can affect the odor/taste of sweat, urine, stool, saliva and vaginal secretions.  Keep a diary of your food and drink intake, and see if the odor changes with a certain food or drink. Otherwise, get a second opinion.

See a doctor soon: There is no one condition that involves all these things. If you have new onset of vulvar warts see a obg this week, and probably avoid sexual contacts until cleared by md. The internet will only delay getting the answers you need, see a doctor in person.

what drug(s) has worked best for vaginal odor without infection?

Depends: Even if not infected, an imbalance in vaginal ph can cause odor. The antibiotic Metronidazole works well. So does clindamycin. They both will re-establih the normal bacterial balance in the vagina and help eliminate odor.
