Too High: This is unusually high. I have never seen a value that high. Get a confirmation test with your doctor. Your machine could be giving you false readings. What is your fasting sugar? What is the range of your sugar reading? How do you feel on daily basis? Are you following a strict diabetic diet? I recommend a visit to your doctor for some lab work and maybe additional education on diabetes.

Prediabetes: Prediabetes is defined fasting glucose 100 -125 or HbA1c of 5.7 - 6 .4 or a blood glucose 140 -199 at 2 hours on glucose tolerance test.  There is some variability in the actual number used, for example some criteria use a HbA1c of 6 a 6.4. , or a fasting &gt; 110.  However even using the most stringent criteria, you are now below the cutoff.  Good  Luck.
