Normal papillae?: They may be normal papillae or taste buds.  Unfortunately we can't see them or diagnose them over the internet.  If you want to know for sure, you will have to see your dentist for a definite diagnosis.

Taste buds: Nope. Those are taste buds. And maybe a bit if a dry tongue. You are not in any way describing an HIV infection.

Not unusual : The tongue have a variety of changes based on your personal oral hygiene. The tongue can look white, if you are dry or dehydrated. Sometimes, the taste buds on the back of the tongue can look  prominent, but this is not usual. There is lymph tissue in the tongue base  and this can change based on your hydration, immune status, and  general health.  See an ENT for assessment if concerned.

Likely a : yeast infection can treat with Diflucan (fluconazole). If you have a documented Positive HIV....then this is a symptom of suppressed immune.

Possibly: If you are constantly biting your tongue with your wisdom teeth, this could possibly create a bump. You should have this bump evaluated by your dentist so that they can determine its actual cause and what treatment, if any, is recommended.

No: Unless you had intravenous drug use or other high risk behavior you do not have HIV. The bumps on the back of your tongue are taste buds, Cold sores are a common occurrence in normal people. If you are over the thrush, it is not an issue.

NO!: You can't make a diagnosis from a single white bump on your tongue. There are no lymph nodes on your tongue and you don't get zits on your tongue. See a doctor.

hello doctor! i tested fo hiv ag/ab ( elfa and eclia) syphilis rpr-tp pa, hbv and hcv at 45 and 58 days non reactive, are my results conclusive? i have small bumps on my tip of tongue that doesn't go away for 2 weeks?

: Yes, conclusive for both syphilis and HIV. And such bumps are not suggestive of either of these infections.
