Not a problem: There are no ill-effects associated with a high serum folate.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

The enzyme that metabolizes synthetic folic acid is a slow enzyme in humans but a fast enzyme in rats, so rat studies cannot be used for human health advice. Basically, unmetabolized folic acid ends up floating around and artificially raising serum levels

High Folate (folic acid) Levels: There is no known consequence of high serum folic acid levels.  The only potential consequence of excessive intake of folate is the masking of b12 deficiency.  The recomended allowance of Folate is 1mg/day and foalte is added to the majority of food stuffs to prevent deficiency.
