MMR reactions...: ...Happen between days 4-12, so 3 days between the shot and the fever is on the low side - not impossible, but between this, and the fever recurrence (which is also very unlikely with an MMR reaction) i'd see suggest seeing your doctor to look for another cause.

Actually, the first fever could be something else, and this new fever is within the reaction window.

Vaccine fever?: the NMR and var vaccines are not associated with fever until 5 to 10 days after vaccination. So most likely a new illness.  If your child is  fussy, lethargic or other associated symptom have her rechecked at your doc.

: Not really. The odds for toddlers to experience febrile seizure  are higher in those with positive family history of febrile seizure,  and in those receiving  the combination vaccine, MMRV (MMR  and varicella).

MMR: Usually side effects from the MMR vaccine are seen within 7-12 days after the vaccine. Fever and rash are considered amongst the "mild" side-effects. It's also possible that your son has something completely different.  Encourage hydration: water, pedialyte, juice, may use ibuprofen or acetaminophen to decrease temp. If fever is greater than 39' Celsius (about 103'F) then report to your pedi doc

A flu vaccine is recommended and a COVID 19 vaccine as available. Watch for signs of cough, fever and shortness of breath.
