Cardiologist: I suggest you allow the interventional Cardiologist choose the appropriate treatment. You def need a Cardiac Cath. During Cath a stent may be required, balloon angioplasty may be required, or referral for bypass.

Might: A coronary calcium scan is not advised for routine screening for coronary artery disease.1 this test may not tell your doctor any more about your risk for heart disease than your risk factors do.
Major risk factor are: high blood pressure, diabeteshigh cholestrol, smoking, genetic facors, and obesity.

Risk factors: An elevated hscrp and cholesterol are risk factors for cardiovascular disease. His calcium score is low(good). Pravastatin helps lower the  total and ldl cholesterol. He should follow a proper diet, maintain normal blood pressure and weight(a dietitian helps), not smoke, and exercise regularly after passing a treadmill stress test. Taking a baby aspirin daily may be worthwhile if his MD agrees.

Probably: The devil is in the details.  Both the details of your numbers and the details of your food choice.  For example, if you are eating red meat, it is best to have grass-fed beef.  So tough to answer in 400 words.  That said, i would be very pleased with a calcium score of 0.  Even with bad lipids a 0 score suggests very low risk for cardiac events.

Zodiacs: Well there are many meanings for zodiac I'm not sure what you mean by it. At 69 with a calcium score of zero that's good news. The slightly elevated bp is meaningless without numbers. If it isn't above 140 at rest systolic that's good. Not sure what you're asking with the ?

It is unusual.: If there was believed to be artifact due to the heart's motion, the physician interpreting the test would indicate that in the official report.

Calcium score of 1-10 implies minimal identifiable atherosclerotic plaque with a very unlikely risk, less than 10%, of coronary artery disease.

Calcium score of 11-100 implies definite, at least mild atherosclerotic plaque formation with a likelihood of mild or minimal coronary artery narrowing.
