Do not worry: Normal pregnancy is associated with a rise in the percentage of neutrophils (and thus a decreased percentage of lymphocytes). Since your neutrophilia has been present throughout your pregnancy it is most likely physiologic. One must wonder about an infectious cause and if you have been having fever or signs of a urinary tract infection, please see your obstetrician. If not, relax.

Yes: White blood cell counts are normally higher than usual during pregnancy. You did not give the actual numbers. All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, I do not see any reason for concern.

OCPs: You should be fine. Continue your pills as you normally take them. Use other protection for 7 days (in addition to the pills ) after you get back on your normal schedule.

Some risk: The primary concern with HSV in pregnancy is for exposure during a vaginal delivery that could result in a viral infection in the newborn - that type infection could be fatal to the newborn.  Preventative measures include prescribing an antiviral starting by 36 weeks gestation and planning a cesarean if there are any signs or symptoms of a recurrence of the HSV at the time of labor.
