A member asked:

High neutrophil (90) and low lymphocytes during my 7 month of pregnancy what does it mean? do i need to worry?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Do not worry: Normal pregnancy is associated with a rise in the percentage of neutrophils (and thus a decreased percentage of lymphocytes). Since your neutrophilia has been present throughout your pregnancy it is most likely physiologic. One must wonder about an infectious cause and if you have been having fever or signs of a urinary tract infection, please see your obstetrician. If not, relax.
