my cardiologist said everything is normal, but still i am worried.

Normal: The dimensions you listed for your ECHO, if I read them correctly, are all normal with the exception of the IVS being a little thicker than normal.  IVS stands for the middle portion of the heart between the bottom left and right chambers.  Measurements, however, can be somewhat inaccurate, so I suggest getting a second opinion on the measurments of your IVS.

i would like to know if i could get a referral letter to get a covid test please, i need to do one so that i can know if i'm able to work with sick patients tomorrow? would need to get results today if possible please?

microhematuria in urine. im 25 years old. what are the most common possibilities of why its there? for sure no uti and not period blood because i wasnt on period. im scared and dont understand what it means. help please?

my serum iron level is 9 [range:14-28] ferritin is 18 [10-420] symptoms fatigue, headaches, dizziness do i need to use iron supplements/ferrous fumarate to increase it? whats the difference between serum iron and ferritin please?

: Iron level is not a good marker for iron deficiency by itself. Ferritin reflects your body's iron but many conditions increase the ferritin level even you may be relatively deficient in iron. TIBC should be done to know if you truly have low iron. By those # I'd say you may have low iron but not 100% sure and without Hb/Hct/MCV/MCH/TIBC, I could not say if you should take iron supplement or not.

about a week ago i noticed that i was thirstier than usual. a few days later, i started dealing with dry mouth and throat. now , i am suddenly having trouble swallowing my saliva. i can swallow food and drinks fine. help please?

: Being thirster than usual, then feeling dry mouth and throat makes me wonder if you have new onset diabetes. Not being able to swallow saliva is unusal when food and drinks are no problem. However, it may be that your mouth is so dry it feels like there is not enough saliva to swallow.  You need to see a physician and be tested for diabetes and examined well and determine other tests too.

hi doc..my vaginal swap test result came out, and im seeing i have epithelial cells 2-3/hpf, and pus cells 4-6/hpf..then culture yielded scanty colonies of staphylococcus aureus after 24hours of incubation at 37degree celsius..interpret this please?

: Can vaguely do, but you are better off meeting with radiologist and directly discussing your films.  My take, is that present are minor-moderate signs of wear and tear degenerative changes, none of which require surgery, all of which can be handled conservatively.

First things first: The number one thing you can do to get the ball rolling is to eliminate carbonated beverages from your diet.  This includes both regular and diet soft drinks.  Next, work on elimitating other sources of simple sugars.  Once you've done that, add in another serving or two of vegetables.  That should be an easy first step to get you on your way.
