The ultrasound: Appearance is not specific.  It may be benign, but malignancy is a possibility.  You will probably need CT and/or MRI for further evaluation of the nodule.  Needle biopsy may be needed depending on the results.

SIRT?: Hi Kanabar, this depends on what the primary cancer is, but lets assume its is secondaries from CRC, then in that case I would imagine the IRs would be very aggressive and would treat those 3 lesions in the liver, The periotonel nodules usually indicate Stage IV disease which is treated with cytotoxics only. There are many types of benign tumors that will have to be considered, focal fatty changes,hepatocellular carcinoma or liver cancer. However, if cancerous, there is a higher chance to be metastatic originating in another organ. Biopsy can clarify, many times not needed due to new imaging modalities.
