Incisional bleeding : A hematoma associated with a surgical incision would typically occur due to small amount of bleeding under the staples or sutures shortly after closure.  It can keep that section of skin and tissue from healing as quickly as it should and could cause a small opening that will need wound care to heal more slowly.

Yes: There is a change that a very thin membrane may cover the hematoma and bleeding stop. It is not unusual to have multiple chronic SDA . There often is a small effusion that remains chronic, small collection of fluid.
Be sure to follow with a neurosurgeon in any case as this can be life threatening; ie rebleed

Hematoma: The thigh can hide a large amount of blood and not look very different but remain painful for extended period of time. Please see physician. Especially if hematoma was spontaneous.

my husband had arotic angiogram 10 days ago.  he got a hemotoma in groin.  dr checked a few days ago said it should go but he is having a lot of pain.

Call dr: If pain is not improving or getting worse, i'd get seen again. Could have something called a pseudoaneurysm. Can also have internal bleeding that you can't see.

my friend was just in a car accident and she has 3 small hemotomas on her brain but they told her to take ibuprophrin doesn't that thin your blood?

Brain injury: If your understanding of injury is correct then you are correct to be concerned; your friend needs alternate prn analgesics;check back with the original evaluating facility of another physician.

was a serious iceskater age 5-19 and at 19 had a severe right hip hemotoma from repetition fall learning triples, took 2 mos for rehab & pain is back?

Hip Pain: I assume imaging was done to diagnose the hematoma?  Did pain resolve over the 2 mo of rehab and is now returning with increasing activity?  Or did pain get better but never go away? Need to see sports med specialist to examine you, look at your previous imaging, perhaps order new or additional imaging to help you get better.  Hope this helps.  Good luck.

Not always: headache after head injury, even mild injury, can occur.  I would highly suggest that if your symptoms have not resolved that you do indeed seek care to ensure that it is not something more significant.
