Yes: There is a change that a very thin membrane may cover the hematoma and bleeding stop. It is not unusual to have multiple chronic SDA . There often is a small effusion that remains chronic, small collection of fluid. Be sure to follow with a neurosurgeon in any case as this can be life threatening; ie rebleed
