Hemorrhoids: Over the counter medications will only contain witch hazel. This herb is for anti-itch or soothing. They do not help one heal from hemorrhoids. If you are not healing well on your own you may need prescription steroids to shrink them down.

Yes: These work locally where applied, so it is ok to use while breast feeding.  Also, a high fiber diet with more fruits, vegetables and grains would help.

Yes: This should have no impact on absorption of the medicine form your vaginal suppository.

Bleeding: I believe that you will get the best care and follow-up for this problem from a proctologist or colorectal surgeon. If hemorrhoidal pain is severe, it usually indicates a thrombosed hemorrhoid which needs to have a clot removed. If pain has abated but bleeding is profuse, you will need care from the specialists.

how do i treat a thrombosed hemorrhoid i have tried hot baths, suppositories, medication cream and ib profhen.  what can i do.? i am miserable and everytime the blood cycle flows thru the rectum, i am crying in pain, i have been awake all night.

See : See a colon and rectal surgeon. Hemorrhoides have grades and the treatments are very wide... You might benefit from having your hemorrhoids removed.

difference between flagystatin and zalain(sertaconazole nitrate)? im having reoccurring yeast infection. culture test noted presence of fungus which medication is better? will 1 dose of zalain suppository be enough?

i used a vaginal suppository to treat a yeast infection and it was the first time putting something up the canal. its days later and it feels like something is stuck and theres blood mixed with the medication leaking out. is it normal?

: No this is not normal. Abnormal vaginal discharge usually is caused by problems other than yeast, and blood in the discharge also doesn't go along with yeast. Any and all unexplained vaginal bleeding needs in person medical attention. See a doctor forevaluation, including STD testing. Good luck.

i had a c-section about a week ago and was advised that i can occasionally take a spoon of liquid paraffin to assist with constipation and healing, will this have any effect the medication i'm currently taking (synaleve & voltaren 100 suppositories)?

Stool softener: liquid paraffin like mineral oil is a substance that is occasionally prescribed for constipation. One of the biggest drawbacks, though, is that it can interfere with absorption of other medications and nutrients. A better option would be a stool softener which attracts water molecules to the stool to make it softer and easier to pass. You will also have less anal leakage with the stool softener.
