Flagystatin is a combination of metronidazole and nystatin. Metronidazole is a drug used to treat infections, and nystatin is an antifungal used against fungi like yeasts. Zalain is also an antifungal. They all do work differently to kill the fungus, so if a person has tried one or two of them, it may make sense to try a third one. One suppository is the typical dose.
