Don't: Henmorrhoids rarely get infected. If a swelling near the anus burst and discharges purulence it is more likely a rectal abscess and may have a fistula associated with it, which may require surgery to prevent recurrence. See a colon and rectal surgeon for evaluation.

anal itching that results in bleeding and what looks like a clear liquid leaking, no pain. seems to be from hemorrhoids and is only on the surface of the anus. is there something topical that can help release the itching so it can heal w/out a dr?

Need more info: Rectal itching is very common and can be associated by bleeding, diabetes, straining to have a BM, parasitic infection and of course hemorrhoids. You might try an over the counter product like Preparation H ointment. If you see no relief in 3-4 days then it would be wise to see your family physician.

leaking from anus after bm. internal hemorrhoids. using witch hazel wipes -wiped too raw with tp. what now? clears up if i take an antibiotic - cipro (ciprofloxacin).

Go to the Doctor: Usually one learns the 'three s' approach to managing their hemorrhoids at home. But, given your symptoms there is absolutely nothing to tell you other than that you must be seen in person, examined, and possibly sent on to surgery.
Antibiotics treat infection. They do not treat hemorrhoids.

i am experiencing  leaking stool and bloody stool.  the blood is brownish red. not like when i have a hemorrhoid. i just had a bout of diverticulitis.

: Use Sitz baths for 10 mts three times a day. Avoid constipation. Use OTC cortisone ointment eg anusol locally. If not better in 48hrs or have any other symptoms see your MD

i have had a yellow fluid that sat on the bottom of the toilet bowl leaking out of my constipated albeit solid stool i've had ibs like symptoms. what is it and should i be concerned? i had a colonoscopy and it came back clean with small hemorrhoids?

Pruritis ani causes: Could you be referring to fissures, fistula, abscess? Sexually transmitted disease (syphilis, gc, hiv, etc.) should be considered. Hemorrhoids &amp; rectal prolapse can appear as an outward bulging. Anal trauma of any kind may cause mechanical injury. Skin eruptions need to be considered. Evaluation is recommended to distinguish serious versus less concerning reasons for your problem before treatment.
