Cardiac cath ?: If this was arterial catheterizationf through the groin, you need to inform the doctor who did the catheterization and get Duplex scan of the groin to determine if it is a hematoma, pseudoaneurysm or fistula or other cause.

: These are rarely seen unless there is a significant impact process. Examples include a car crash, sudden impact with a tree skiing downhill, falling from a significant height, bludgeoning with a weapon.

Liposuction: It is most unlikely a hematoma at this late stage and is best answered by your physician's evaluation.

Check it out: Subdural hematoma can leak slowly for days or weeks. However, epidural hematomas can cause intense immediate pressure and cause spinal cord herniation. This is very dangerous. Since you are still alive, you most probably don't have an epidural hematoma, but still i would check it out.

when to get a hematoma blood clot drained? i took a hard fall over 3 weeks ago. bruise is gone, but large lump is getting painful again. is it a clot?

Maybe,maybe not: Some of the bruises over bony prominences (shin, hip, etc) form a calcified (bony) mass that can take months to gradually resolve. Clots tend to break down and be absorbed into the vessels servicing those tissues. Your pcp can examine and see what this is doing. Most recommend avoiding clot drainage when possible as the maneuver can introduce infection into deep tissues.

i bruised my shin in a fall.   a hematoma formed .  itis about 3/4 " high by 1 1/2 " .  it has hard bump on top.  how can i get rid of it? thank you.

Time: Hematomas can be quite painful. They are nothing more than a collection of blood. I recommend you get a neoprene compressive sleeve to wear.  Initially, ice may relieve symptoms.  After a few days, you might consider applying some warm heat intermittently.  This can sometimes help the body break down and reabsorb the hematoma.

Blood thinners: If you are on certain medications such as aspirin, ibuprofen, or other nsaids, these may cause you to bruise more easily. There are blood tests that you can take which help diagnose bleeding problems (ie: pt, ptt). Vitamin k deficiency also causes easy bruising which can be tested for.

Hematoma: Your wife has a hematoma of the chest wall.
It hardens over several days and may turn black and blue.  You can use warm soaks which may help resolution..

Maybe a cyst: I would see a dermatologist to make the correct diagnosis. If it is an acne cyst it can be injected with cortisone which will improve it but it will not get into your bloodstream.

Shin bump: This has to be evaluated by a doctor. You might need an x-ray also.
