Open cervix?: Your cervix may be slightly open- it is the opening to the entrance to the uterus- I am fairly certain this is what your doctor means.

6weeks late. 7th day heavy bleeding with cramps that lasted 3 days which is not normal coz mine go for atleast 5 days. was it p.m.s? cud i be pregnt?

Check preg test: The easiest thing to do is head to any local pharmacy and pick up an over the counter pregnancy test. They are cheap and reliable. If you are pregnant please seek prenatal care. If you are not please see your doctor to get on some effective birth control.

Your hormones are: in flux for some reason.  Many factors affect the normal flow of periods including age, season, weather, stress, exercise, body girth, nutrition, etc.  I would wait until the period returns and see if the next cycle brings regularity. No: The low lying placenta with the heavy bleeding precludes any form of vaginal delivery as labor will again cause life threatening hemorrhage.

Call your Dr.: Any sudden/urgent questions during your pregnancy should be directed at the OB who is following you. If you have not had your first appointment yet, make an appt to see an OB of your choosing ASAP. The bleeding is probably benign, but you should take it easy, rest with your legs up and make sure you are not taking any meds that can cause bleeding like ibuprofen, NSAIDS, vitamin E, fish oils.

Possible miscarriage: Bleeding with cramping in the first trimester can indicate a miscarriage. See your OB Dr for an exam and possible untrasound to determine if the fetus's hearbeat is still present. If the fetus is still viable, your Dr may recommend bed rest to prevent further bleeding/cramping and may monitor you more closely, doing tests for progesterone and other factors.

No: Most mom's who have been pregnant before can pick this up at about 16 wks. Most first timers don't pick it up until later (20 wks).

12w pregnant ?: After 12 weeks of documented pregnancy (with ultrasound) it is unusual to have a miscarriage. Blood oxidizes after time passes, and turns brown. This bleeding may have been cervical irritation from sexual activity, but if it continues, see your OB provider for an exam.

is it ok for us to try and conceive agian right away? i had a natural miscarriage at 12 weeks and want to try again i'm not really bleeding anymore just brownish tint when i wipe. and no pains at all. and my levels are back to like before i got pregnant.

I : I am sorry for your loss. The current recommendation is to wait 1-3 cycles (periods) before trying again. Also schedule a visit with you doctor for pre-conception planning. Your doctor will make sure it is safe for you to proceed, and will make sure you are taking the appropriate vitamins, as well as discuss ways to be healthy prior to conception.
