how long does it take to get the trace of weed out of a system? my boyfriend was on blood thinners because of a heart condition he has and he smoked pot with an old friend of his and when he had to take a drug test it showed up positive. he failed to tell

If : If he was a heavy, regular user of cannabis than a urine drug screen may pick it up a month later. However, if used little of it and it wasn't being used regularly, it is usually out within a couple of weeks.

Specific gravity : of urine is a function of hydration.  The more concentrated the higher the specific gravity.  The more water content then the closer to 1.000 (specific gravity of water), it will be.  But nothing you have written is cause for concern.  Why do you think heart failure at 31 years of age?  Congenital heart defect?..Narcotic addiction via injection?..idiopathic, viral myositis?   More info would help.

Maybe not: With all those in-person tests being normal, risk of peripheral neuropathy is pretty low.  Can’t tell for sure without a more careful exam by a Neurologist.  Check with one if you are still worried.

Just perhaps, guidance regarding long-term withdrawal from alcohol may be more beneficial

The echocardiogram can only indicate fluid and doesn't differentiate between blood and other fluid. The definitive diagnosis is made when the fluid is removed by inserting a needle or tube into the space around the heart.

More info needed.: Why was an investigation done on the heart? What testing saw an abnormality. What is meant by spot? Testing neonates for heart issues only occurs after something is found, so there is more to this question than meets the eye. Most newborn heart issues are based upon abnormal anatomy (congenital heart disease). If the anatomy is normal, that is helpful. Talk with your doctor!
