: No, everyone with atrial fibrillation does not also have heart failure. Heart failure is a clinical diagnosis confirmed with echocardiogram. The ejection fraction can be low or normal in those with heart failure.

No, that means U R: Still alive! any physical or strenuous activity will make your heart race to increase flow and supply blood and oxygen to different parts of the body esp the muscles of the extremities. Certain symptoms such as chest pain , passing out, dizziness headache with physical exertion warrant more work up.

Exercise: You are probably overdoing it. You need to start slowly and build up slowly. Try walking for a half hour at a time comfortably and slowly build up distance increasing no more frequently than every 2 weeks. Also get checked by your doc to be sure no problems interfering.

Resting heart rate: A normal resting heart rate in an adult is 60-100 beats per minutes.  With a normally functioning cardiovascular system, heart rate will increase to meet the demands of increased activity, and decrease when less active.
