Heart palpitations: Heart palpitations are common regardless of state of pregnancy, and are usually not indicative of cardiac pathology.  Anxiety and stress in general can lead to palpitations, and if accompanied by dizzyness or loss of balance should be evaluated by a cardiologist.

Should be OK: Palpitations while actively vomiting could be related to overactivation of the sympathetic nervous system in that moment.  If the palpitations happen in isolation, you might want to see a Cardiologist.  Regardless, a heart monitor such as Holter monitor could let us really know what's going on.  Can't be too careful during pregnancy!

Pregnancy : tends to lower blood pressure by causing blood vessels to relax, so you can hold more fluid/blood. This can contribute to the symptoms you are noting, and for sure you should let your doctor know, as testing for heart issues can be appropriate.

There are different types like skipped beats, various rapid beats and/or irregular beats. Medical conditions can cause palpitations, including hyperthyroidism, anemia, hypoglycemia, and cardiac problems. See your doctor for eval.

But for repeated palpitations it is best to be checked to make sure that you don't have an electrical problem with your heart.  Also, it's a good idea to be sure that you have normal thyroid function, since abnormalities in thyroid function can cause rhythm problems in your heart.  So get a check up and tell them about the palpitations.
