Very common: And usually very harmless.  If the palpitations are causing you to be dizzy or short of breath, contact your doc to further evaluate.

Should be OK: Palpitations while actively vomiting could be related to overactivation of the sympathetic nervous system in that moment.  If the palpitations happen in isolation, you might want to see a Cardiologist.  Regardless, a heart monitor such as Holter monitor could let us really know what's going on.  Can't be too careful during pregnancy!

Heart palpitations: Heart palpitations are common regardless of state of pregnancy, and are usually not indicative of cardiac pathology.  Anxiety and stress in general can lead to palpitations, and if accompanied by dizzyness or loss of balance should be evaluated by a cardiologist.

Palpitations: Palpitations have many causes from anxiety through anatomic and physiologic abnormalities. The feeling of bounding usually relates to the volume of blood pumped with each palpitation. There is no simple single answer for the question. If you're bothered by the feeling should consult a dr. To see if the problem can be clarified.

Pregnancy : tends to lower blood pressure by causing blood vessels to relax, so you can hold more fluid/blood. This can contribute to the symptoms you are noting, and for sure you should let your doctor know, as testing for heart issues can be appropriate.

Need a monitor: Although the palpitations you are experiencing may be a kind of "allergic" response, that is not likely unless there are other manifestations (like a skin rash) as well. It may be that you have an underlying arrhythmia or short circuit in the heart that is exacerbated by eating tomatoes. A cardiac monitor with a good tomato feast would help provide the answer.
