The vast majority: Of heart murmurs are innocent, meaning they are the sounds your heart makes when blood travels through it. It sounds like you are quite anxious. If you are worried, your doctor can check an EKG.

Chest pain: The reason for the chest pain is not probably cardiac. Other causes like acid reflux or musculsketal chest pain that could cause it. The LVH on the echo doesn't mean anything.

Either way, intense chest pain and trouble breathing should be evaluated immediately to determine cause.  See your doctor or seek care at an ER if you are experiencing the intense chest pain and trouble breathing at this time.

Most causes are quite benign but some are serious. You should see your provider to obtain a complete assessment for this.

Keep searching: Conditions or factors that can cause a high platelet count are:
iron-deficiency anemia 
hemolytic anemia
absence of spleen
cancer
inflammatory or infectious diseases, such as connective tissue disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, and tuberculosis
reactions to medicines
i would recommend second opinion especially a hematologist.
