a doctor does test and says it lungs are healthy, however after a few tests found tb on the king. my question is how do you get tb on healthy lungs?

Airborne disease: Doctor's exam of lungs will not show the TB, but chest Xray  can reveal it.

One can get TB from an infected person coughing.

Easily treated.-long- upto 12 months.

is it advised to walk on d tredmill during the fifth month of tb treatment?  is it compulsory to do exercises like walking for lungs to b healthy?

Ok, but not needed: Millions of people get TB treatment, and they only have to go about their normal lives, which we hope will include daily walking and some exercise every day or two. Having TB treatment is not related to any additional need for more exercise.

tb scar on lungs was treated frm tb last year. is is possible to get lung cancer or any other disease bcz of d tb scars? wat r d health risks?

Yes: Used to be relatively common, but since TB is much less common now, the number is low in the us.
Regular followup is appropriate with ct scans.

: Based on your history of TB, your lung findings are not of any worry or consequence. Some amount of fibrosis/scaring of the upper lobe of the lung is common after TB. You do not need to worry any further.

Depends: If drug therapy is effective, then you are typically not capable of infecting others after 10 to 14 days. But this must be tempered by an understanding that your sputum cultures and smears must be checked to confirm they are now negative.

Not necessarily: Yellow mucus usually indicates an infection but it can be due to any number of causes.

why doesn't primary tb occur in lung apices like secondary tb does?

TB: It can. The primary focus is usually the right lower lobe because that is the easiest site of entry for inhaled droplet nuclei containing afb. When the infection reaches the local nodes they suppurate, erode into an adjacent artery and the m. Tbc then spreads throughout the body to the areas with most blood flow. Either the patient then forms multiple granulomas or goes on to develop miliary tb.

Not TB: Radiographic findings are one part of diagnosis of disease processes. Some things can have similar appearances and usually differential in diagnosis.. Negative correlative blood test and sputum negate the radiographic findings. Negative skin test:  means the person’s body did not react to the test, and that latent TB infection or TB disease is not likely. Look for other cause of xray findings.

mild scarring is seen in the right lower zone of my lung, what does it mean? i don't even have history of tb. how do i get this?

Most likely: Past pneumonia or pleuritis.  You should get tested for TB anyway and other infections, but at your age, cancer is not likely.  Why did you get chest x-ray in the first place?  If you are having symptoms, you should get to a doctor.

No: You can get TB from exposure to the bacteria associated with the illness. This may come through infectious droplets from a TB patient's cough or sneeze.  Most people overcome this primary tb, & it stays dormant for years. Especially in elderly and sick people though, it can reactivate.  In traditional chinese medicine, the emotion governing the lung is grief -- but this differs  from tb.
