Here's my idea: This pathologist's personal definition follows freud: having a mind and body that allow you to work, to play, and to love others. Disease being factors on or within the skin that interfere with our doing this. Being allowed to choose your own path through life is a key to health in the larger sense. You may have a different definition, or not want to bother.

i've been having recurring knee pain during and after running over the last several years. it mostly flares up when i haven't run in a while, and then once i'm back in a running routine it will often go away. that being said i've been meaning to get it checked out for a while and my health coach recommended i reach out about possible telehealth.

Knee Pain: What you are experiencing is very common. After not running for a while, the joints become stiffer and on resuming running, initially microtrauma and stress on the joints causes the pain to happen. After a bit, these heal and the joints are more supple and strong. When reinitiating running, be less agressive and ease into it. Also stay hydrated and practice proper running and exercise techniques.

i just checked my health summary online and the doctor noted hyperglobulinemia and monoclonal gammopathies.i am also referred to a hematologist. what could be its meaning?

Monoclonal spike: It means that your blood show high abnormal proteins. Monoclonal means one type of b cells are produced by your excessively on lab electrophoresis method. These b type may have different presentation like benign gammapathy, lymphoma, leukemia or plasma cell-multiple myeloma. Hematologist would do bone marrow & aspiration to find out, which one of the above mentioned cell you have. Thanks.

can heartache kill me. meaning how broken hearted can i get until there's a danger of having a heart attack ( broken heart syndrome). i'm seriously concerned for my physical health?

: Broken heart syndrome will not kill you. It would be prudent to see your doctor to see if you may be depressed. Depression is treatable. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Wish you good health!
