Be checked: A large cervical disc herniation can cause severe neck pain, and pain or numbness in the arms; but a disc herniation can not really cause blurred vision.  This is because the nerves that supply your eyes come directly from the brain and do not pass through the neck .  And so, if you are having significant problems with your vision, you should be seen immediately   it may be something else.

Bone and blood: Two big thinks that are easier to see on ct are acute bleed and bone, MRI is better for anything that is related to soft tissue i.e. The brain itself.

: Not clear why you would ask this question, as you did not describe any harm that occurred to you during the testing.  Are we missing some critical details?  Modern CAT scanning is very fast, but on occasion, complex studies may take longer.  You are encouraged to ask the radiologist if all needed data was acquired.

What kind of lesion: You'll need to specify your "brain lesion" since this can mean many different types of problems from stroke, to tumor, to degenerative white matter disease, to demyelination or MS.  The pain in the neck is more likely secondary to the herniated disc rather than an intracranial lesion.
