Yes, for both: Hepatocellular Carcinoma is commonly treated with Sorafenib which is a type of targeted therapy. This is a good choice of treatment in case you have not yet received this drug. Immunotherapy using PD-1 inhibitors has also shown some modest evidence of benefit although it is not yet FDA approved for this indication. Ask your oncologist to guide your treatment further.

HCC : Hcc is, by definition, primary in the liver.  If the tumor size and quantity fit within very specific criteria, then the patient is given extra points toward transplant.  However, if the tumor burden exceeds those limits or has metastasized outside of the liver, then the patient is not a candidate for transplant regardless of the meld score. If a tumor is smaller than 2 cm, it is not counted towards transplant

the criteria i've mentioned are called the milan criteria.  They specify the following: in order to qualify for transplant, a patient can have one hcc lesion up to 5 cm in size or as many as three hcc lesions as long as none of them is larger than 3 cm.

LIVER TRANSPLANT: Liver transplant is the best option for cure.  You need referal to a transplant center and be seen by a multispecialty team. Since it may take time to obtain a liver there are certain therapies that are used as a bridge to transplant. Radiofrequency ablation - burning of tumor. Chemoembolization - infusing chemotherapy into tumor and then blocking the artery that feeds it.

Depends on therapy: Its really therapy dependent.  Most hcc are related to cirrhosis, usually extensive and multiple and not amenable to therapy.  Only early hcc can be amenable to resection and or liver transplant.  Transplant is curative, as can be resection in the absence of cirrhosis, especially for early (modified ajcc stage 1 or 2) hcc 
most other therapies are largely palliative and offer dismal long term surv.

Depends: Depends on how advanced it is, my friend. Early hcc may be treated successfully, maybe even cured, with surgery but therapy for more advanced ones is directed mostly to shrink and control the cancer rather than curing it. It also depends on how healthy the patient is in general. Idealy should be managed in a multidisciplinary setting (surgeons, transplant specialists, gi, and medical oncologist).

See below: Health supplements are usually not useful.  He should not take any medication, including over the counter drugs, herbals or so called health supplements without discussing it with his doctor.

Yes: Pls make sure consult your oncologist.  You may need resection or other treatment since it’s growing.

Very poor: Metastatic cancer to bone portends a fatal outcome unless it is one of those uncommon cancers that is curable with chemotherapy. However, the time frame is famously unpredictable. Local radiation to the bone lesions may help.

Slightly better: Xgeva (denosumab) does have some advantages over zometa: quicker administration and no kidney side effects. It is associated with fewer bone complications from cancer than zometa. On the other hand, zometa is now generic, meaning that is a lot cheaper. Neither is a curative treatment for prostate cancer and they are both considered adjunct treatments. Thes small differences   may or may not justify its use.
